Elementary school students in Depok are expressing their gratitude for the Free Nutritious Meal Programme (MBG) by leaving heartfelt messages for Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto. These touching messages are written on the meal boxes or omprengs provided as part of the programme, showcasing the students’ deep appreciation for this initiative. For example, Regita, a grade 3 student, shared how the programme has helped her save her pocket money, showing the practical impact it has on students. Aliya and Alenna, along with many others, also conveyed their love and appreciation for President Prabowo through their messages. The MBG programme, which is a flagship initiative of President Prabowo Subianto, is being implemented across Indonesia to provide free nutritious meals to those in need. The Nutrition Fulfilment Service Unit (SPPG) is responsible for managing the programme and ensuring the quality and sustainability of the food provided. In order to support long-term sustainability, the government has chosen to use stainless steel food containers that are both hygienic and reusable. This programme not only addresses the nutritional needs of students but also fosters a sense of appreciation and gratitude towards the government, creating a positive impact on the community.
