President Prabowo Subianto has revealed that a total of 352 TNI soldiers are set to take part in a military parade marking the 76th anniversary of the Republic of India in New Delhi on January 26, 2025. The announcement was made before his departure to India from Halim Perdana Kusuma Airbase in Jakarta on Thursday afternoon. Indonesia feels honored by the invitation from the Indian government, allowing Indonesian troops, including Akmil cadets, to be prominently positioned in India’s anniversary parade. The Indonesian contingent will comprise 352 TNI soldiers and cadets from the military academy. President Prabowo is slated to hold meetings with Indian President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss various aspects of bilateral cooperation, such as signing an MoU pertaining to collaboration in areas like health, culture, security, maritime safety, and technology. Moreover, discussions with Indian entrepreneurs keen on investing in Indonesia are also lined up during his visit.
