Agus Joyo Sutono, a contract-based government teacher at SD Dua Jati Kulon in Jati District, Kudus Regency, has been dedicated to his profession for over two decades. Recently, he shared his appreciation for the improvements in the distribution of the Teacher Professional Allowance (TPG) under President Prabowo Subianto’s administration. Agus highlighted the faster, more accurate, and transparent disbursement process that has made it more convenient for teachers nationwide to receive their allowances.

With his teaching journey starting in 2003 and officially becoming a PPPK teacher in 2023, Agus views the TPG as a milestone in recognizing and motivating him to enhance his teaching skills. While receiving the TPG since 2011, he particularly noticed a significant enhancement in the distribution system this year. The direct central transfers to teachers’ accounts have streamlined the process and improved efficiency, according to Agus.

For Agus, the TPG is not just a financial incentive but also a symbol of trust and state support for the teaching profession. He praised the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology and President Prabowo for implementing a policy that simplifies the distribution process. Besides supporting his family, Agus uses the TPG for his own education, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in primary school education.

In addition to personal benefits, Agus extends solidarity by assisting non-civil servant teaching staff and contributing to school activities using a portion of his TPG allowance. He emphasizes the importance of making the new policy a long-term standard to elevate the welfare and professionalism of devoted teachers. Agus looks forward to the continued positive impact of the TPG on teachers and the advancement of Indonesia.
