During his speech at the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) Congress, Prabowo commended the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) for making history by leading the military parade on France’s Bastille Day on July 14, 2025. This marked a significant moment as it was the first time Indonesia had a prominent role in a European national celebration. Prabowo highlighted the honor of Indonesian troops leading the parade in France and praised their discipline and performance during the event.
He was particularly impressed by the way the troops marched, expressing his pride as a former soldier. Following this milestone, Prabowo revealed that several other countries have shown interest in having Indonesia participate in their national day celebrations.
