Garuda Merah Putih-II Task Force successfully completed a humanitarian aid mission to Gaza Strip, Palestine, on the 80th anniversary of Indonesia’s independence. The mission, a collaborative effort involving the Ministry of Defense, Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and National Alms Agency (Baznas). Two Indonesian Air Force C-130J Super Hercules aircraft took off from King Abdullah II Air Base in Amman, Jordan, and dropped aid supplies over Gaza before returning safely. The aid packages included essential supplies like food, medical equipment, blankets, and items for children. This mission was carried out under President Prabowo Subianto’s orders to uphold Indonesia’s commitment to international humanitarian solidarity. The success of this mission on Indonesia’s Independence Day was celebrated as a moment of national pride, highlighting Indonesia’s active role in global peace efforts.
