Bandung – Prabowo Subianto, the presidential candidate number two, was greeted by a music and dance parade at the National Declaration of the Indonesian Muslim Unity Love of the Motherland (Gempita) event in the Grand Sudirman Ballroom, Bandung, on Wednesday (27/12).
The parade was presented by the young people of Bandung from the Manshur Angklung Onstage Performance Milenial Musisi Etnik group from West Java, who had been waiting for Prabowo’s arrival since the beginning.
Prabowo’s arrival, accompanied by drum music and dance, was enthusiastically welcomed by the people of Bandung, West Java. They scrambled to shake hands, take selfies, and cheer while holding up small banners with Prabowo’s picture.
“Go Prabowo!” they shouted.
Today, the Indonesian Muslim Unity Love of the Motherland (Gempita) movement is scheduled to declare its support for the number 2 presidential candidate. According to the Chairman of Gempita, Lamlam Pahala, they believe that Prabowo and Gibran are the right figures to advance Indonesia and continue President Joko Widodo’s programs. (SENOPATI)
